Problem: AT&T Internet Security Suite activation fails, or indicates that the services should be activated but are not when AT&T Internet Security Suite is restarted.
Cause: Cookies are being blocked and this prevents the successful activation of AT&T Internet Security Suite. Conflicting applications can also stop the activation process from properly executing. Resolution: Restart the activation process by removing any existing activation information using the DatRemover.exe tool.
1. Click here to download the file DatRemover.exe to your Desktop. 2. Run the file, select Activation information and click Remove. 3. When it has completed, click OK and AT&T Internet Security Suite will start automatically. 4. The Setup Wizard appears. Press Next. 5. On the second page, click Next. This allows you to proceed to the Activation process. 6. When the activation screen appears, enter your username and password and wait for the confirmation. 7. When you are notified that the activation is complete, press Finish. If it is still not active, verify your cookies settings to ensure that cookies are enabled on your computer then retry the procedure above. |
