Question: How can I reinstall my Virus Protection Engine?

Answer: 

Versions 5.0 & 5.1: Do not use the following solution.

1.       Close AT&T Internet Security Suite by right clicking the AT&T Internet Security Suite  icon in the system tray then selecting Shut down.

2.        Delete your temporary files
a. Click Start and select Run.
b. In the Open field, type cleanmgr.
c. Click OK.
d. After a few moments a list will appear. Place a check mark beside:
        - Downloaded Program Files
        - Temporary Internet Files
        - Recycle Bin
        - Temporary Files
e. Click OK to start the removal.

 

        3.       Download the latest version of the Virus Protection engine here

4.       Double-click the downloaded file to reinstall the engine.

5.       Click OK to reboot the computer.  The Virus Protection should be active after the reboot.

 

Restart the computer and open Radialpoint Security Services. If the problem persists;

1.       Save this removal utility to the Desktop then double click it to start the installation. http://download.microsoft.com/download/E/9/D/E9D80355-7AB4-45B8-80E8-983A48D5E1BD/msicuu2.exe 

2.       Once the installation is complete, Click Start, point to Programs then select Windows Install Clean Up.

3.       A list of programs will appear. Select any entry containing Authentium and click Remove.

4.     Reinstall the engine once more by double-clicking the file that was downloaded in step 3 above.
